Terms and Conditions
- All prospective students are to pay a registration fee of £50. This is non-refundable.
- To book a place on a course either the full fees or a minimum deposit of £1000 is required.
- All course fees must be paid in full prior to commencement of the course. If students are unable to pay the full course fee in advance, they must contact the Accounts Department to make arrangement for extended payment terms. Payment by installment is at the sole discretion of the college.
- Enrolment for a course, together with the payment of the required deposit/full fee creates a binding agreement.
- In the event of cancellation for whatever reason, the following conditions apply:-
- Cancellation must be received in writing at least four weeks before the start of the course.
- Where cancellation is received after the commencement of the course, there will be no refund whatsoever.
- Transfer of fees to another student/course/start date will be solely at the discretion of the College. A minimum of £75
transfer fee will apply.
- If a student’s VISA application has been refused then the fees paid will be refunded less administration charges (plus any courier and transfer charges) on production of the following documents:-
(i) Copy of the VISA refusal letter (APP200), (ii) Copy of the student’s original passport showing both photograph and signature; (iii) Copies of all original admission documents from the College; (iv) where the payee was not the student, an original authority letter from the student authorizing the payment to the payee.
Refunds under this section must be made in writing.
- Once documents have been issued confirming full time status no refunds or course transfer are permissible other than in the instance of VISA refusal.
- All refunds will incur an administration charges of £250 (this includes the non refundable registration fees).
- If for any reason a course is cancelled by the College, students will be offered an alternative course, or a refund of fees.
- Full time students are required to maintain an attendance of a minimum of 80% throughout the duration of their course. Holders of student visa are required to attend a minimum of 15 hours of day-time study per week.
- Overseas students must comply with the immigration rules.
- LCBM reserves the right to refuse admission to any course. We also reserve the right to dismiss any student, without refund of fees, in the event of serious misconduct.
- LCBM reserves the right to change any aspect of a course including availability of the course, course dates, curriculum, tutors and study materials at any time.
- A charge of £50 will be made to students for all dishonored cheques.
- LCBM reserves the right to dismiss any student at any time for non-payment of fees. No fees will be refunded for any students dismissed under this section.
- LCBM reserves the right to inform the appropriate authorities including the British Home Office where a student has been removed from the College under section 11 and 14.
- All information and prices provided on the LCBM’s website, on LCBM’s price list and through other promotional channels is believed to be correct at the time of printing but is subject to change at the discretion of the College. Changes will be displayed on the College notice board and/or on the website.
Special Offer (September 2008/January 2009) Terms and Conditions
- This offer is available to all prospective students of the London College of Business and Management both in the UK and overseas applying for the 2008 academic year.
- Offer subject to the student being accepted on his/her chosen course of study. It is essential for the student to include all relevant certificates to his/her application to facilitate the application process
- All students’ are to pay a non-refundable and non transferable deposit of £550 to get full admission. The College will issue out admission letters for the relevant academic section. Transfer of the deposit to another start date will be at discretion of the College. A maximum of three start dates may be allowed by the College.
This offer can only be taken when two or more students take up admission at same time. (Please call or email the College for further information if you were applying alone)
- All students taking up this offer may arrange with the Accounts Departments to pay the outstanding balance of the fees in instalments. However, all the annual fees must be paid before the end of student’s academic year.
- All students who pay full fees within the duration of this offer will get a 10% discount on their fees.
- Any student who introduces other students through the normal process will get 10% commission per every student introduced. This is subject to the friend been accepted on the course and the fee deposit or full fees has been paid.
